Jefferson Park came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning scoring 3 runs on 2 hits. Javy Lopez got things going when he delivered a solo blast (his 3rd of the season). Adam Dunn next to the plate and he drew a walk. After an out was recorded, Bret Boone stepped up to the plate and he blasted a two-run home run (his 3rd of the season). Jefferson Park rapped out 7 hits for the afternoon. Juan Rincon(3-0) got the win allowing 2 runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. Rincon was helped out by Greg Aquino who recorded his 1st save. Joe Nathan(0-1) was hit with the loss in relief. Jim Aldrich was understandably not very talkative after his team's tough loss. He quickly showered and changed and when asked about the game had a terse, yet polite response, 'Hey fellows, that game was a heart-breaker to lose. Our guys gave it their all and played well - fate just wasn't smilin' on us this afternoon'
